Come enjoy the beautiful outdoors away from the city and learn about the off road capabilities of your Land Rover vehicle. Each year SCARR attendees enjoy good times with family and friends while meeting fellow Land Rover owners from around the country. Past attendees have come from all over the country as well as from England, Europe and South America.

Members’ Registration fee is $130 and Non-Members fee is $155. SCARR Registration includes driver’s entrance to park, primitive camping, event goodie bag and t-shirt, one main raffle prize ticket, 10 general raffle tickets and two catered meals.
Passengers’ fee for 12 and older is $40 includes the two catered meal and event shirt. Passengers under 12 are free includes the two catered meals but not a event shirt. You may purchase additional shirt for $15.
Late Registration will be open from April 1st to April 12th with Member’s fee at $150 and Non-Member Fee is $175. Passengers’ fee remains the same.
Registration will close at midnight April 12th. A daily fee of $60 will then come into effect. This will include meals but no T shirt or goodie bag.
This year we celebrate our 14th year of SCARR. Since the first event held in 2004, attendance has steadily grown over the years - 2016 brought 105 vehicles and over 230 attendees. Texas Rovers has reserved the entire park once again this year. Your registration fee includes: entrance to the park, primitive camping, 15 general raffle tickets and an event t-shirt, and two catered dinners. We believe this allows attendees to get the most “bang for your buck!” Some of our SCARR events will include daily trail runs, a driver’s challenge and activities for the kids.
We are excited to be welcoming a new food truck Rooster’s On Tha’ Run. Rooster’s is a regular presence at Barnwell Mountain and nown for his famous hot wings. A local from Tyler they will offer up tasty breakfast and lunch items plus dinner items on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. They will be located at the main pavilion during the SCARR event.
We have had to make a few changes for this upcoming 2017 SCARR event. These changes include (but are not limited to):
- This year, well behaved dogs will be allowed in the park. If you choose to bring a dog(s) to the event, the animal(s) MUST be leashed at ALL times and MUST be kept away from the pavilion during meal times. You know your pet best. If your dog does not do well around vehicles, children, adults, other dogs, etc., DO NOT bring it to the event! If for any reason we feel that your pet is disrupting or causing a threat to other attendees, you may be asked to leave the event without a refund. Please choose wisely. As always, it is your responsibility to pick up after your dogs. Thank you!
- Second, in the interest of attendee safety, all registered vehicles will be subject to a basic safety inspection on the day of your arrival. Only vehicles labeled as passing will be allowed on any trail. Please note that this will be STRICTLY enforced. More details about the safety inspection will be announced soon.
- Also, we ask that you please be respectful of the park and other clubs’ camp sites. Please leave all areas cleaner than you found it. We will be doing general campsite inspections to make sure all areas are cleaned up due to the major amounts of trash and personal belongings that were left behind last year. Please be respectful and clean up after yourself.
