**POSTPONED** Due to a lack of interest and possibility of inclement weather, we are canceling/postponing the trail cleanup at Bridgeport OHV.

Check back for possibility of a rescheduled date in the future

Hello Texas Rovers,
On November 22, 2020 beginning at 0800 hours, Texas Rovers members have the opportunity to volunteer their time and effort for the improvement of the Northwest OHV Park located in Bridgeport, Tx, approximately one hour north of DFW.
The OHV Park entry fee will be waived however a volunteer form and waiver will need to be signed. Once the form is signed, it will be good until June 2021. A valid Texas OHV Sticker is also required.
Here is the link for the volunteer form, the waiver will be signed the day of:
cityofbridgeport.net/volunteerform

Important: If you plan on volunteering, you must e-mail Mike Neal at president@texasrovers.org prior to the improvement day. These names will be sent to the Park Attendants so you are granted entry without payment.

Goals:
•Trim overgrowth for vehicles to pass thru. This includes branches, limbs, some small trees, etc.
•Decide which existing bypasses are necessary and which not as well as creating new bypasses if necessary. Please inform where they were done.
•Decide what mud holes require attention and make note of this.
•Repair or create new track obstacles. This includes rocks and boulders, logs, terrain such as v- ditches, cross axle sections, rock sections, obstacles, etc.
•Pick-Up Trash
Tools Needed:
•Gloves and proper clothing, close toed shoes
•Common tree trimming tools such as trimmers, loppers, gas and electric saws, weed eaters •Shovels, pickax, and other outdoor tools
•Vehicle winch with proper equipment such as shackles, tree strap, and pulley
•Trash Bags

Once we feel like we have completed the task, I encourage you to explore the OHV park and get some wheeling in prior to the park closing. I will be present to guide the group to a certain locations at the park requiring attention and of course to lend a hand.
I look forward to seeing the progress and positive impact the Texas Rovers Club will have at the Northwest OHV Park.

THANK YOU!
