Darrell's Back Rod Birthday Trip

It’s the last-minute Back Road Trip to celebrate Darrell Oliver’s birthday in the Wise and Jack Counties of Texas.

The plan is to meet for breakfast at 9:00 AM on January 13th at the Cottondale General Store. We start the adventure after breakfast.

This is a laid-back country store in the farming community of Cottondale. They offer a simple but surprisingly good breakfast and will be a good option for grabbing last minute supplies or fuel.
From there we will make our way around the two county ties making a big loop that will end our journey for Dinner at Sweetie Pie’s Ribeyes on the historic square of the county seat in Decatur.

Two options for lunch and could make a simple vote. Eat a pack lunch with a view (likely lake side), or a restaurant.

The CB channel will be 13. It will be a laid-back day of country roads and peaceful views, truly a Sunday Cruise led by Joey.
