Rear Diff. breather and leaks was created by RedDirtRover
Is anyone familiar with the rear diff breather cap/hose getting clogged and causing pressure build up (resulting in release from axle seals, etc.)?

I believe there was a replacement for the front breather.
I am having minor leaking from one of my rear axle seals and beginning to notice heavier leakage from another seal (rear as well).

Would like to eliminate all areas considered to be 'quick fixes' before escalating concern.

As it stands now, I had first noticed one minor leak but since there was no fluid on ground I decided to just keep an eye on it. Since, I have now noticed second leak that appears to be a bit bigger. Still, no fluid on ground but there is quite a bit of a mess on the top side of the carriage.

Thanks for any and insight.

Sorry for just getting to this now--
It is not likely the diff breather is clogged on this, the top of it is behind the fuel fill. A major mess of tubing is back there. I would suggest disconnect on the top of the diff to determine if it is plugged.

More than likely something else is wrong, the best bet is to swap out the diff. Josh has plenty exchange units available at a great price so give him a call...

Bear in mind, those diffs don't hold much oil, so don't let it run dry, it won't take much..
