Hello,

I live in Keller, and drive a 2004 Disco II. Had to replace the instrument cluster a while back and bought one with lower miles on it. The lower miles are flashing on the odometer now and I need to synch it to the truck's actual mileage in the computer. I've heard this can be done with the Nanocom diagnostic tool, but was told by a Rover mechanic in Haltom City that this is not possible. First off, is it possible? and Scondly, if it is, does anyone in the DFW area have one of these diagnostic tools on hand?

Thank you in advance!

Sorry, I think this got posted in the wrong "room". For some reason it forced me to post it to "Solihull Sisters", but was meant for DFW

Interesting situation. Normally the vehicle will automatically grab the higher mileage. Not sure you can sync but I maybe wrong. It could be that the cluster you bought has an issue.

While I can't say if it is supposed to do it automatically or not. I also won't say that there may not be something wrong with the new cluster. But the nanocom does offer the function to synch them up to each other. It will default to the higher milage of the two though. Also a T4 from a dealership will also do this.
