Amendment to Club Articles

In accordance with Article VIII (Amendments) 10 days’ notice is hereby that the following amendment B (changes in Capitals) will be voted on by the membership at the next Chapter meetings.

AMENDMENT.

A. Membership dues shall be set annually by the CLUB officers with approval by a majority vote of members present. Membership dues shall be due and payable on or before the anniversary month of membership. Membership dues shall be initially set at $40.00 for individual or family memberships. Only the membership family head shall be considered a voting member of any subsequent club memberships as a result of membership in the CLUB and only one copy of any email or CLUB communication shall be sent to each voting member. In cases where a family member wishes to have all membership benefits and be listed as a voting member, they may do so and pay the current membership fee for full membership.

Membership dues shall be initially set at $40.00 for individuals or family memberships WHO ARE RESIDENT IN TEXAS. OUT OF STATE RESIDENTS MAY JOIN THE CLUB FOR $25.OO ANNUALLY, HOWEVER THIS MEMBERSHIP LEVEL DOES NOT HAVE VOTING PRIVILEDGES. Only the membership family head shall be considered a voting member of any subsequent club memberships as a result of membership in the CLUB and only one copy of any email or CLUB communication shall be sent to each voting member. In accordance with Article VIII (Amendments) a vote was held at the Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston Chapter meetings on 4/27/2023 on an Amendment that only Texas based members who subscribe $40.00 would have the right to vote on Club matters. The Amendment passed 32 votes for, to 1 against..
