Family Day at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center - March 1

Family Day Event on Saturday, March 19th at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, Texas

The plan is to meet at the western wear shop at the Hwy 67/I35W junction at 9:30 am, leaving at 9:45 sharp to arrive at the Center around 10:30. Admission prices are listed below. We will make it to the visitor center/gift shop/restaurant around lunch time depending on the number of vehicles and how many times we stop to feed animals.

You may bring a picnic lunch or purchase something from the restaurant and eat at the picnic tables under the trees. A petting zoo is next door to the gift shop.

We will take the drive back to the main entrance after lunch which will take about 2 to 2 ½ hours.
Depending on the weather conditions we may stop for dinner at Loco Coyote in Glen Rose. If not, we will find another place along the way back home. CB channel will be 5.

Please post if you are planning to attend. You may meet the caravan at the front entrance of the park.

Only opening Mueller Zoo can go is March 19th as long as work does not snake it.
